Sweet western short story.
Hope Bishop was on her way to Weeping Willow Creek to marry her late husband's best friend when their stagecoach went over the hill, killing her intended. She was thrown from the stage and knocked out, but when she woke up, Dusty Flynn had rescued her and taken her to a rundown shack to care for her. Desperate to find her son, Timmy, she wanted to find him herself, but her head injury wouldn't let her. Dusty told her to stay where she was and he'd go find the boy.
Dusty found Timmy in a hollowed out tree and got him back to his ma. He was concerned with their welfare since Weeping Willow Creek was a wild, unruly town and women were scarce. When Timmy asked him to take them home with him, he couldn't oblige since it wouldn't be proper without wedding Hope. When a man accosted Hope in the hotel dinning room, he made up his mind he couldn't leave them there all alone and unprotected. He done the only decent thing he could do. He married her and became a pa to Timmy. At least his grandma would be happy he got married, but could they learn to love each other and become a family or would the man who accosted her destroy their lives?

YES: This was a heart warming short story. For the space allowed in a short story the characters were reasonably well developed and there was a smooth flow to the plot. We were given limited details and it seemed, in the beginning at least, Dusty was younger than Hope.NO: I was disappointed in the large number of grammatical errors and incorrect tense usage. I am guessing this was an unedited work, and while I appreciate the author's eagerness to get her work viewed, even more careful attention to these details is important. Have others proof the work before submission, or hire a freelance editor to produce an improved finished product. These errors leave the impression the piece is amateurish.

Again what a good book. Short and to the point. Ms. Leah has a knack for making you feel part of the story.
I enjoy it very much. It could of been longer Than it was. It was very good. Kept it very interesting to read. I read some of her books before. She is a good author. I enjoy all of her books.
The story was a super fast read. It seemed as if it ended right
after it started. It was sweet and tender. People who like sweet tender short love stories will enjoy this one especially if they are short on reading time.
A very good story about how the way the frontier problems were. A good example of the wild west and how they had to protect their
children and their famnilies.
Another good story by Cia Leah, whom I love her stories.
Sweet, but too short. Would have liked it more if some of the other characters were developed. I did enjoy it.
I really enjoyed reading this by ms. Leah. The characters were likeable and believable. I look forward to reading more books by this talented author.
The story was somewhat unrealistic. The main characters met and married within an extremely short time. The book would have been better with more depth to the characters and a longer timeline.
